There are legal requirements that must be met if you are going to be married at St. Bartholomew’s and you can find out what they are by making a phone call to the Parish Office on 01793 853272.

 

Once we have ascertained whether these requirements are met then the process is straightforward; easy to complete forms, a marriage preparation course, a wedding service rehearsal and the ceremony itself.  It is all organized to help you prepare for the commitment and joy of marriage.

 

Christian Marriage, which is the journey you make together from your Wedding Day, is a commitment to work and grow, and build and cherish; it is serious, but we hope to support you in your vows by a welcoming atmosphere on your wedding day, with opportunities to ask questions and a prayerful service in which God is present and at which you feel His blessing upon you.
